ECNU Xiping Bilingual School丨Vacancies for Expatriate Teachers
Xiping Bilingual School of East China Normal University (ECNU) adopts a 15-year system from kindergarten to high school,and is invested by Xiamen Hengxing Group and co-established with East China Normal University. The school is situated in the centre of Xiamen Island, with a quiet and beautiful environment. The campus covers an area of 98,000 square metres with 200,000 square metres of indoor space within our school premise. Hengxing Group is investing about RMB 2.2 billion to create a high-quality private bilingual school playing a leading role in Chinese education and orienting toward the future. The school will open in September 2022.

ECNU Bilingual Kindergarten integrates the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the Chinese Curriculum guidelines to build an ECNU Xiping Bilingual framework. The Primary and Middle School curriculum (Grade1- Grade9) combine the Chinese National Curriculum, Bilingual Integrated Curriculum, STEM/Art & Sport Subjects and Extra Curriculum Activities. High School comprises an international program of IGCSE &A-LEVEL and Chinese National High School.

About Xiamen
Xiamen, also known as Amoy, is a sub-provincial city in southeastern Fujian, People's Republic of China, beside the Taiwan Strait. The city is well known for its mild climate, Hokkien culture and Gulang Island, as well as its relatively low pollution.
In 2006, Xiamen was ranked China's second "most suitable city for living", as well as China's "most romantic leisure city" in 2011. Xiamen is also one of the top 100 cities in the world in terms of scientific research as tracked by the Nature Index according to the Nature Index 2020 Science Cities.

Gulangyu covers an area of 1.87 square kilometers, and has famous tourist attractions like Sunlight Rock, Shuzhuang Garden and Harmonium Museum. Here you may stroll to a quiet lane, or take a sunbath on the beach; there are Chinese and western architectures of various features, and natural scenery that will make poets and literary men want to compose poems and prose. What's more, there are authentic traditional snacks of Xiamen style for you to taste and artistic novelty boutiques for you to visit.

Requirement
■ Bachelor's Degree or higher；
■ More than 3 years of relevant teaching experiences, Chinese bilingual school working experience preferred；
■ Appropriate degree, with UK PGCE, or other teaching qualification giving QTS；
■ ESL teacher should be Native English speaker；
■ High sense of responsibility and passion for teaching；
■ Good classroom management skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills；
■ Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities；
■ Acceptable police checks CRB/DBS (or equivalent) from the country of origin and from other countries in which the applicant has worked;
■ Appropriate 2 references from a current and previous employer.
Salary & Benefits
Salary
You will be paid in Chinese Yuan (RMB) before tax, on a generous scale based on your experience.
Accommodation
School-provided accommodation is available.
Travel
An allowance will be paid to cover annual mid-contract return flights.
Relocation Fee
A relocation allowance will be paid to assist with the shipping of additional luggage etc., at the start of the contract.
Medical Insurance
You (and a spouse) will receive medical insurance of international standard.
Food
Lunch is provided free of charge for teachers during term-time.
Educational Benifits for Children
The first child can have 100% remission on tuition fees.
Physical Examination
Once per year.
Other Social Benifits

You might be called for an interview, which may involve teaching a lesson (or being interviewed on Skype in the case of living overseas). At this point, your remuneration will be discussed, and you will be asked whether you would accept the job if it is offered to you.
